About Glenn Phillips I have been an advertising photographer in the Memphis area since 1984 and have photographed a wide variety of products, places and people. I especially enjoy the problem-solving aspect of finding artistic and budget appropriate solutions to fit the client's needs. My studio is located in the heart of Memphis in the Evergreen Historic  District at 1583 Overton Park Avenue. About  taking a break In 2005 my wife Michele and I left on an eighteen month sailing adventure in the Caribbean aboard our boat Crossroads. This mid-career break or temporary retirement gave us both the opportunity to recharge and return refreshed to our careers. We had amazing experiences and met some wonderful people in some of the most beautiful settings in the world. I hope my photography takes you there for a little while.
